Please Look at My Foot

It’s a short post today, lots going on and I have a feeling I’m losing a battle with a sinus infection. Blech.

Anyway, I’m just reading a 7.4 earthquake has hit Japan prompting tsunami warnings. It is so easy to worry and second guess but I know, KNOW the God I serve has ways we won’t understand.  What plans look devastating and makes the devil laugh had to cross God’s desk first and He knows it ends.  Everything He does has purpose and everything about Him is love. I don’t understand any of this either.  But God isn’t a liar and I’m holding Him to doing amazing things in Japan.  He can handle my sass.  Are you ready to give Him your feelings today?

My real post is a quick blurb about my foot. I want you to see it. Actually, it’s my footer. If you subscribe and receive this through email inbox, come visit my homepage. At the bottom is a huge blogroll because I love reading blogs and letting others know about them. I also have a widget for a free online newspaper you can subscribe to. It takes news from my Twitter followers and creates a cute little paper with great articles. It’s another way for me to encourage others as the news comes from my followers and not me.  If you want to subscribe, you can. Click on the widget and that should give you more information.

Lastly, stay tuned, I am thrilled to announce I will be posting articles from the team at Clash of the Titles, a site I’m loving so much as a reader. If you didn’t know, two excerpts are presented with a theme and we get to vote on the best one without knowing the author. Later on the author is revealed and they share more about their work. I love the entire idea. I’m part of the COTT blog alliance so I look forward to that.

I also look forward to sharing a debut author with you, Leanne Stevenson.  Each month has themes like ice cream month or depression awareness, some more serious than others.  This month is a special month and Leanne has a book and a story that ties into the theme. You’ll have to stay tuned to learn more….

Don’t worry God does have a plan. Japanese people are very resilient.

That’s a great encouragement, thank you!
