Meet Me in Heaven at the Library
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting with friends who all have a passion for the orphans and gypsies of Romania. A couple of the people were there last year and took video of their experience. They visited a lot of the churches and museums throughout Europe and one of the videos was a place where one room looked like heaven’s library. The books were lined by rows and rows of shelves. I think I heard angels singing. Books are my thing and when I announce that my job in heaven will be a librarian, I’m speaking in total faith. I can see me announcing Paul as our guest as I pass out cake like brownies. I adore reading.
That said, I thought I’d take today to tell you a few reading related things.
I review books. I haven’t done a ton this year, but those I have I keep track of just for you.
To read more about my book reviews, click here.
I have a bookshelf that includes just Kindle reads. To see what’s on my Kindle, click here.
I also have bookshelves of books I’m reading, already read, and want to read.
Next week I’m talking books Monday and Tuesday. Monday I review Max Lucado’s Max on Life through Booksneeze. Tuesday I interview new author Leanne Stevenson. She has a gift book called Tiny Hands that Hold My Heart and a message that I think will touch everyone.
Lastly, the new thing seems to be having your own daily paper out for others to read. I have two. The first includes great articles on all kinds of topics generated by my Twittter followers. The second is pretty small and includes Facebook writing related material. You can subscribe and embed my paper on your blog if you wish. Want to take a look? The widget at the bottom of my website pages will take you there.
Check it out!
