Video of the Week: The Southland Series by Mary Hawkins
This week’s featured video on my right sidebar is Mary Hawkins and her Southland series.
Mary is no stranger to fiction. Here is her author bio from Amazon:
Mary grew up on the Darling Downs in Queensland and went to school and trained as a registered nurse in Toowoomba. For over more than 48 years, she has enjoyed being a minister’s wife in Australia, England and on three short term mission trips to Africa in Kenya, Zambia and Ghana. Mother and grandmother, she lives with her semi-retired husband Ray, also a published author, in Tasmania.
Her first novel was published in 1993. Since then, with 19 titles released so far she has well over 800,000 books in print. AUSTRALIA, her first 4-in-1 Barbour anthology of her contemporary Heartsong inspirational romances was a CBA best seller. Her AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK, containing four historical Heartsongs, was released in 2003. Her first longer inspirational romance novel, Return to Baragula, was shortlisted in the Australian CALEB award. Book Two, Outback From Baragula, was released in Australasia 2009 and Book Three, Justice at Baragula, was released in May, 2011. This is her first e-book – watch for it! Unfortunately still only available at Koorong and Word australia bookshops as an e-book.
Faith in the Great Southland has been released by Truly Yours Digital Editions and now available as a e-book on Amazon and elsewhere.
