Google Plus: Perfect for…
If you’re free at 1EST (Thursday) I’m wrapping up the book study Made to Crave via webinar. It’s free and all you need is a decent Internet connection. I’ve had a blast doing it and will be doing it again in January. Stay tuned for my Fall webinar lineup. I’m pretty excited. Also, come back here tomorrow. Fiction Friday is doing something new, a character swap. I have a name of another Fiction Friday member and their work. I’m writing a story around one of their characters, and someone out there is writing a story based on one of mine. I think it is going to be fun. Check it out!
I’m not tech or social media savvy, I try to read up on these things and see if they will help get the word out regarding what I do. It looks like I’m everywhere but I tend to have a few windows open while I write. I can speed read so I can scroll down a bit, “like” some things and move on.
So…what do I think of Google +?
I like it.
As a writer.
Google + seems like a pretty easy to navigate site where I can again scroll through my feed. It’s easy to put people in circles and sharewhat you want with various circles. I like that better than FB.
So far my circles include Writers, Friends, Online Acquaintances, Ohio Peeps and People Who Inspire. I don’t have that option for Facebook unless I weed out everyone and regulate between my personal page and writer page. For that, I really like Google +.
For plain social media I don’t see the appeal in +, yet. Like I said I’m not a master and want to read up on it more but I haven’t seen it as something friends are using in ways they do on FB. My guess is once the invites are wide open that will change.
I’m on as Julie Arduini (brilliant, right?) and if you’re there, I’d be happy to move you to a circle.
Any other social media? Like me, follow me, add me…all here.
Hey Julie! I’m on there as me. LOL. Will look you up if I get a chance. I love G+ because it’s simple too. ^_^
Found you. Now off to write Fiction Friday…
