Julie’s review: I admit, I’m not as familiar with A.W. Tozer as I’d like to be. I’m a huge fan of Charles Spurgeon’s work and have been so loyal to him I haven’t really read beyond him. I chose From the Library of A.W. Tozer compiled by James Stuart Bell as a way to correct that part of my life.
Jim Bell has done a fantastic job putting together different categories and authors that inspired Tozer. For a Tozer fan this is a must have. St. Augustine, D.L. Moody, Madame Guyon and John Wesley are just a few of the names, sermons and articles that touched Tozer during his lifetime.
I personally don’t have enough Tozer knowledge to fully appreciate this book, that’s my fault. I plan to rectify that so I can embrace the wonderful works included in From the Library of A.W. Tozer. A lot of work went into this book. I believe I owe James Stuart Bell my best effort for his great work. You should do the same.
