UBP12: Tell Me You Love Chocolate

Oh, yay! You’re here. Come in, come in. Don’t worry about what you look like. This blogger surrendered worrying about what others think for a few years now. Trust me, you look fabulous.

Tell me you love chocolate. You  have to. I love teaching the Made to Crave Bible study whether online via webinar or through my home church. I’m always honest. Chocolate was so much a part of my life I would eat M&M’s for breakfast.

So what’s a writer to do when she realizes after Made to Crave that those choices have to go?

Well, I don’t know about everyone else, but this is what I did. My tagline is:

Surrendering the good, the bad, and—maybe one day—the chocolate.

When I meet new friends they beg me not to surrender the chocolate. I’ve changed a lot of habits, but the chocolate still isn’t gone. I like Special K. Rice cakes, chocolate of course, don’t make me gag.

I wish all surrender was that easy.  As a blogger, that’s what I’m here for. To encourage you.

Sometimes I blog about how mad at God I was when I miscarried. Some posts are book reviews, and I of course especially love ones that show surrender. I enjoy promoting other writers. Sometimes I update readers on my progress with my contemporary romance, Spectacular Falls. I welcome guest bloggers. I participate in a few memes. I can be serious, or snarky. But if one thing, one day, helps you know you aren’t alone and that surrendering that thing God is giving you a nudge about is worth it, well, I’m happy to be here.

You’re welcome to stay as long as you want. My menu is at the top. There’s something for everyone. If you don’t have a lot of time I suggest you subscribe and/or bookmark. Make sure you check the contact page out. I’m on Facebook. Twitter. Yep, Google+. Even Pinterest. Let’s not make this our only meeting.

Whether you have cake and ice cream or a rice cake, I'm SO glad you're here!

Visiting from the UBP 2012!  Nice to “meet” you. I’ve been blogging about my journey with Made to Crave for the last several weeks on my blog.  I’ve really been struggling so am taking a break for now.  I hope to find hope and encouragement here for this part of my life.  Oh, and yes, the more chocolate the better!

Umm… did you say m&m’s for breakfast?  Love! I put them in pancakes!  I love even more your use of the word surrender.  That has been a big word in my vocabulary over the past year.  Surrender… It’s a wonderful thing!

I am so excited you started the running!  If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask – I’m no expert, but I’ve run a lot.  And I like chocolate, but I think salty things are really my favorite.

@Epic Mom Char, that’s so funny. I joke that when I was having PMS off the charts my hubby would throw a chocolate bar the way most would toss a steak at a dog!
