FREE eBook for Kids: Goggles of Gratefulness from Compassion International
I bet it doesn’t take long to think back on a time where you were in a store, or maybe in your own home when a toy commercial came on, and a child wanted something. Maybe even demanded it. Or received something nice from someone and the child didn’t say thank you or treated it without care. Sadly, that’s a battle, especially in America. We are so blessed that not only do children struggle with gratefulness, adults do, too!
Compassion International has a free eBook they want to offer to families. Goggles of Gratefulness is based on the true story of a Compassion Family who visited their sponsored child in Uganda. It’s a picture book that talks about being thankful “for what we have and generous with what we share.”
From Compassion International: Follow the story of Amelia the bird, who learns an important lesson when she leaves her world of affluence to visit relatives who don’t have the same things she has. Like Amelia, your child can learn that people are more important than possessions, and that God can turn our desire to have more into a yearning to give more, do more, and be more for others.
That’s not all!
If you sign up to receive Goggles of Gratefulness, you can also receive a Family Generosity Challenge Devotional!
