Be Part of A Miracle for the Affected in Aurora
With each hour, we’re learning more about the victims from Friday’s senseless and horrific shootings. A child. Military personnel. Aspiring sportscaster. Fathers. Heroic friends. I can’t seem to learn enough about them, can you? I keep thinking about their last day. They only planned to see a movie. We’ll never enter a theater the same way again.
I also cling to the stories of survivors. They and their loved ones paint a panorama that reaches deeper and wider than Friday, so we can know more about these people who again, only wanted a couple hours plus of summer entertainment. They didn’t wake up planning on bullets and shrapnel, surgeries and therapies, and the reality of medical bills.
One story in particular has my attention because I am a member of ACFW, American Christian Fiction Writers. The mom, Kim, is a writer and is also associated with this writing network. Not only does this link share Kim’s daughter’s story as a survivor of Friday’s tragedy, it also shares Kim’s situation.
Please read and at the very least, be prayerful.
