Character Confession: There is Rest for the Weary

I know, it’s the month where I share thankful thoughts. Most have been from you, the readers, but Saturdays I usually take for my Character Confession.

I wanted to say weary but the graphic wouldn’t load, so I guess frustration has to be the confession.

The oldest started basketball so there is the added schedule. The youngest is having issues with schoolwork so I re-create a lot of the reviews and tests so we can go over them each night. Hubby is in his busy season at work and preparing for the Christmas presentation at church. I’m editing a novel and trying to write every day for the new. There are issues in front of me and on my mind that if I let it, are exhausting.

But in the thankful category, we’ve had great talks as a family. Had a date night. Took the youngest to a library princess party. I had a soaking, cleansing time at a worship service where for a moment I was able to let the issues go.

Keeping this short—this weary woman is going to take a nap.
Stay tuned, more thankful posts to come.

Julie you are one busy lady.
I found your site via the NaBloPoMo blogroll.
I like the idea of making a character confession.
Right now I’m a little weary too. 2011 was a busy year, and I’m looking forward to the new year.
Hope the nap was filled with sweet dreams.
Take care.

Frances, I’m so glad you found me. I love NaBloPoMo, although I question my sanity because for the last two years I’ve done NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo. It was a shorter nap than I wanted but it was good to take.

I’m going to peek at your blog as well!
