With a teen son in the house, I’m always on the look-out for resources that will challenge and inspire him through these hard years. When I saw that Courageous Teens by Michael Catt and Amy Parker was available, I couldn’t wait to receive it and share with our son.

The book contains Godly examples to encourage teens, but both my teen and I felt a tad underwhelmed. We wondered if there would be more movie tie-ins as he was so inspired by Courageous. Knowing the key demographic is teens, I thought there would be added visuals or technology to enhance teens’ experience with the book. These days the kids are bored fast by a basic book.
