I bet you thought I was going to blog about my zoo experiences, didn’t you?

Nope, I thought I’d go in a different direction and share my ZEAL.

I am not an openly demonstrative person, nor am I someone where affection comes naturally. I’m not someone that kisses babies, pats pregnant bellies, or runs to people initiating hugs. When my husband proposed, I was so calm it was my roommate who called my parents, not me. It’s just who I am.

But, I’m an encourager, and definitely a passionate person. I have ZEAL. When I have a passion for something, I bubble over with words and excitement. What gets my blood pumping?

 

-When women seek Christ right where they are, wanting a closer relationship with Him.

-When I receive revelation from Him through His word, a sermon, a song, etc…

-When my writing peers receive great writing news.

-When my family overcomes and grows, especially during adversity.

-When I get a correct answer watching a game show.

-When I see patriotic America in action.

-Anything Superman.

My opposite reaction? My blood curdles when I observe:

-People with potential I can see not even trying.

-Lying

-Being patronized

-Incompetence

-Arrogance
