To be honest, I didn’t expect a football-themed church service to stir up so much reflection. But when the pastor said, “Our team jersey speaks of our allegiance,” I felt it — in my Buffalo Bills loyalty, in my anxious heart, and in the quiet hope I’m choosing anyway.
