Sabbath Sunday: Winter Roads

Each Sunday I use my own nature picture and a few words about rest and God’s love for you.

If the picture works this was a picture I took as a passenger in a car with a person starting a new journey. They have no idea if all the driving is worth it. Will there be success or failure at the end of the road?

Faith is taking that drive with no idea where the road will take you. You can’t see around the bend but you’re driven to get in the car and try.

Isn’t that just like life? When I sit down to write I have no idea if anyone will relate to what I’m sharing. But there is a drive to try.

How about with your relationship with God? Did you know it doesn’t have to be a far away distant relationship but an up close and personal one because of His Son, Jesus?  Embarking on a relationship with Him guarantees a successful journey.  Not an easy one, hence my bleak roads picture. I’ve had hard, HARD times but without that faith, I can’t even go there in my mind.

But I can go places with faith.

And so can you.
