Book Review: Destiny by Tony Evans
I’ve enjoyed Tony Evans for years because he’s Biblical and topical without being complicated. His voice has authority. When I had the opportunity to read his latest book, Destiny, I jumped at the chance.
I wasn’t disappointed. Tony remains Biblical in explaining why we all have a destiny and how to find what their personal mission is, yet he shares contemporary stories to drive home his points. He writes without being complicated, and as I read, I could hear his booming voice cheering the reader on with his words.
He starts off explaining why we are masterpieces. I work with enough people to know the last thing they feel like is a masterpiece. Dr. Evans understands, and slowly walks us through why God is so fascinated with us, and why we should be, too. I’m also still chewing on a Biblical principle that makes a lot of sense on how to find and walk in our destiny, and all I’ll say is first. It makes sense, and I will keep it at that so you can read for yourself.
